Marketing Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in executing the marketing strategies, with particular focus on social media engagement. This position involves coordinating various marketing initiatives, ensuring the successful promotion of both internal and external events, assisting with talent initiatives and maintaining a strong social media presence.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a thought leader for our brand and content, driving inbound and outbound marketing strategies through web, social media, content creation and other required channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Serve as a thought leader for the brand.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, curate and manage content for social medial channels, ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging. Develop messaging and positioning to drive change and establish the firm as a leading provider.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools and applications and recommend innovative ways to enhance our online presence.
  • Remain current on our client’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns.
  • Assist the Talent Team with talent strategies and career fairs.
  • Formalise and maintain the marketing budget.
  • Identify advertising needs.

EVENT MANAGEMENT

  • Plan, organise and execute internal and external events, including webinars, teambuilding, workshops and corporate events. Manage the internal newsletter. Assist Talent Manager at Career Fairs with set up, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, such as team building activities and internal events.
  • Work closely with the Talent and Branding team iro Career Fairs at Universities.
  • Coordinate dress codes internally and externally as required for events..

MARKETING SUPPORT

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, content creation and digital advertising.
  • Train senior management and staff to be able to make use of social media to enhance the brand.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create marketing material such as brochures, flyers and digital assets.
  • Ensure correct promotional material is ordered and in stock for career fairs, vac, job shadowing, etc.
  • Assist with the company’s website maintenance and relevant content and event information.
  • Coordinate with external partners, vendors and agencies to support marketing initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Batchelor’s degree or Higher Certificate in Marketing, communications or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Marketing Coordinator with social media specialisation.
  • Proven experience in managing events and social media, preferably in an audit, finance or corporate field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools as well as familiarity with content management.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
