POSITION OVERVIEW
This role requires an Audit Manager to manage audit engagements which includes planning, delegating, guiding, reviewing, attending to staff queries, liaising with clients and reporting to the Partner.
THE ROLE
This role requires an Audit Manager to manage all aspects of audit engagements. The Audit Manager will plan, initiate, execute, manage and deliver an audit file timeously and in compliance with auditing standards.

- Are on the CA(SA) route and have completed PGDA/CTA
- Will have completed their SAICA articles by the end of 2025 or early 2026
- Are looking to further their career in audit with hands-on leadership experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audits.
- Effectively and efficiently performs assigned audit procedures to deliver quality work.
- Engage with the Audit Partner or Senior Manager and the team for opening meetings prior to the commencement of an audit.
- Agree on time budgets with Senior Audit Manager or Audit Partner and communicate same to audit teams.
- Maintain strict adherence to timelines and communicate any deviations timeously.
- Responsible for the allocation of sections and set reasonable timelines for sections according to level of experience, complexity and competency needs.
- Conduct meticulous reviews of working papers to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure that review notes are cleared and provide sufficient detail to ensure proper understanding of the findings.
- Set timelines for the clearing of review notes to ensure that there is sufficient time for a second review.
- Responsible for upskilling, disciplining and mentoring junior members of staff and escalating any issues of concern to HR, Senior Managers or Partners.
- Provide regular status updates to Partners or Senior Managers ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Liaise with Partner, Senior Manager or QC on complexities that are discovered ensuring that work produced is of high quality.
- Complete staff evaluations for all team members, escalating concerns to the Audit Partner or Senior Manager.
